Dr. Cyndi Estrade
Dr. Cyndi Estrade’s purpose in life is to help animals. She received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and graduated Summa cum Laude from the University of New Orleans in 2001. Soon after she became a CPA. Four years later she decided to follow her dream of helping animals and started vet school at Louisiana State University’s School of Veterinary Medicine. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from LSU in 2009. Upon graduation she began practicing in Houston. She then moved to Richmond and purchased Brazos Bend Animal Hospital in May of 2017 from Dr. Karen Ross. Her favorite parts of veterinary medicine include working with pets, the clients, and having a great staff. At home, she has 3 dogs, 3 cats, and a turtle named Clover.
Dr. Aaron Rainer
Dr. Aaron Rainer received his B.S. in Biomedical Science in December 1998, and Mastered in Public Health and earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University in May of 2006. He has a strong interests in preventive medicine, internal medicine, surgery, and leadership.
Dr. Rainer holds several professional leadership positions and presently serves as the President of the Texas Veterinary Medical Association (TVMA) and its over 4000 members. He has served on the Executive Committee as the Council Chair on External Affairs and as a Board of Director for two regions: North Central Texas & Gulf Coast. Dr. Rainer is also a co-lead of TVMA External Communications and has served in many capacities for TVMA, including the Legislative Committee, State Board Rules Task Force, Conference Rebranding Task Force, and the Recent Graduate Committee.
Professional highlights include: 2014 12-Under-12 Young Alumni Spotlight (Texas A&M University), 2014 Rising Star Award (Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences), 2010 Emerging Leader (AVMA), 2008 Recent Graduate Practitioner of the Year (TVMA), and 2006 Buck Weirus Spirit Award Recipient (Texas A&M University).
Aaron joined Brazos Bend Animal Hospital in 2018. He is an avid sports fan and enjoys all things Aggie. Dr. Rainer was born and raised in Temple, Texas, and keeps strong ties to his hometown as a partner with the Animal Emergency Center of Temple-Belton. He and his wife, Laurin, were married July 2000 and have two children, Adriel and Jace. He has two dogs – Gilly and Frankie, 3 cats – Gracie, Janet, Boogie and beef cattle. Mandy started with our hospital in October of 2012. She is a veterinary technician who enjoys all animals and working with clients. She has eight cats of her own, Penny, Pj, Oppossum, Meeko, Duke, Baby Cat, Bean, and Homer. She also has two Standard Poodles, Mordy and Leila, and a Macaw named Indiana. Mandy enjoys spending time with her family in her spare time and working on craft projects.
Audra enjoys working with all of the animals here, as well as all of her own, which include two dogs: Scout, an Australian Shepherd and Rowdy, an Aussie mix. She has one cat Piper, a horse named Cheyenne, a cow named Buttercup and two calves Jack and Jill. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family outdoors and helping her daughter train Scout for the competitive dog world!
Audrey began working as a veterinary technician when she was 16 in her hometown of Seguin, TX. She has worked with hundreds of species from tiny invertebrates to big cats and giraffes. She thoroughly enjoys working with all species of animals, but her favorites are birds and amphibians. Her husband’s work brought them to Houston and she is now enjoying working right next door to him! Audrey and her husband both graduated from Texas A&M University with degrees in Wildlife and Fisheries Science, so they have quite the personal zoo at home. Their menagerie includes two dogs, two cats, five parrots, a one-eyed chinchilla, a South American horned frog, a tiger salamander, a pair of gold dust day geckos, a colony of red eyed tree frogs and a few different species of poison dart frogs.

Bridgett has made a life out of caring for animals. A fixture of dog show communities since the late 90s, Bridgett has groomed and shown for professional dog handlers nationwide. She grew up in Lindale, Texas where she and her mother bred Akitas. In 2010, Bridgett moved to Bryan where she managed a grooming shop. She recently moved to Richmond with her husband Josh and their three dogs, Stetson, Danity and Sparkle.
Natalie started with Brazos Bend Animal Hospital in May of 2018. She is an active member of the Houston Veterinary Practice Managers Association (HVPMA). Natalie enjoys communicating with clients and making them and their pets feel like a part of our family! When she is not working, Natalie enjoys fishing with her husband, Jordan, shopping and crafting. They share their home with their four cats; Three seal-point Siamese, John John, Toasty, and Spider-man, as well as a domestic shorthair tabby named Stitch. John John is the big boy pictured to the left!
